PROCESS
1. Initial Client Consultation
By working closely with you, coolstuff® gets a better understanding of the goals and e-marketing needs that is expected of your web site. We will:
- answer all questions
- develop possible solutions
- understand the business of your industry
- help plan your online marketing goals
- determine any additional staff requirements
2. Proposal / Work Agreement
After the initial consultation and research, coolstuff® drafts a proposal or work agreement based on the initial consultation. The includes:
- the web site project’s goals
- the overall scope and size of the project
- the complexity
- the brand identity, design and layout
- the time constraints
- web software and online application flow
- beta testing procedure
The proposal outlines all costs, fees, due dates and materials needed to begin the intial design phase of the project.
3. The Design Phase
When the proposal / work agreement is accepted, coolstuff® begins the design phase of development. This includes:
- design the site’s homepage
- layout and functions of the navigation structure
- creating template layouts for the content of the new site
The design phase is paused several times for client reviews and changes.
4. The Production Phase
After the completion of the design phase, coolstuff® begins the initial production phase of the site. This process includes:
- finalizing all the graphic elements
- the HTML programming
- writing any custom programming
(custom programming may be another phase depending on complexity) - content writing or conversion
- cross web browser testing
5. The Final Review Phase
coolstuff® always keeps clients informed throughout the complete design and production phases and pauses at various steps for input and approval. After the web site is complete and functioning, it is ready for the final review. The client reviews the entire site to make sure that the content is correct and all the site’s components function properly.
6. Training
coolstuff® will train your staff to make changes and updates to the new site. If special content management tools are used for updates, we will train your staff in all aspects of the web site’s content updating process.
7. Maintenance, Updates and Revisions
Even after the site is complete and our training services are rendered, our services don’t have to stop. coolstuff® can perform necessary updates to the new web site to keep the site’s content fresh and informative to its users.
8. Marketing
Once your new web site is live, who will come to see it? coolstuff® offers search engine placement services, email marketing services, automated sequential email broadcasts, video production, online seminars, interactive online slide presentations, surveys, polls and much more. If your marketing staff needs to be trained on the newest e-marketing tools available, we can also help get your staff started with on-site training.
